The Dangers of Toxic Black Mold
The toxic black mould is a dangerous mould which can develop on any surface. He prefers sectors which are moist, have the moderate temperatures and receive the light. The toxic black mould tends to appear as duveteux or pulverulent and can develop on or in air-conditioners, systems of the CAHT, walls, wood, food, carpet, leather, clothing, pieces of furniture and almost any other object or material. The escapes and other sectors which tend to have much condensation are the principal spots so that the black mould develops.
Individuals who suffer from the allergies or asthma can be the first to note that the mould of black is around, because they will have symptoms initially. The toxic black mould can even poison the human ones although it is extreme. While the mould develops it breaks up its food, or the material which it develops above, and when the material is broken up the mould then converts it into volatile organic compounds. It is when these compounds are found with the elevated levels that poisoning occurs. These compounds affect in particular the nervous systems and respiratory.
Control and prevention are the best ways to avoid toxic black mold. Black mold needs moisture to grow and it is possible to control the level of moisture in the air in your home. Dehumidifiers can be placed strategically to get rid of air moisture. You also should check your heating system, ventilation ducts and air conditioners at least once a year to make sure they are clean. Black mold growth in these pieces of equipment can be particularly dangerous.
